St. Nicholas Church wedding Prague / Sandy & Jimmy wedding photography
These two were a lot of fun! Sandy & Jimmy are two very successful people who dreamed of traveling over from Hong Kong to marry in Prague. After all it is not often that people can travel here to marry and with a few family & friends in attendance that is exactly what these two did on a very sunny late wintry day.
But before we were to photograph their beautiful wedding we spent part of a day at Castle Hluboka and Vltavou capturing a very beautiful and elegant portrait session. They wanted a very fun relaxed session of them posing in front of the impressive castle (it was closed but we knew that going down there) and even took many Facebook timeline pictures of themselves posing during their portrait session at Hluboka. Truth is, we would have done more but Jimmy sadly left his suit back in Prague. So a few quick shots were created and off to Prague for a change into a new dress (and it is stunning) and a quick 2 hour portrait session in the freezing cold. These two can handle anything.
The next day it was their time to marry at the beautiful St. Nicholas Church in the heart of Old Town Square. I must add that this is a truly fantastic church and it is always a pleasure to capture a wedding here as it is quite beautiful. I am on pretty good terms with the maintenance people who always lets our couples head up for a private tour and Sandy & Jimmy were game.
Afterwards it was simply time to relax, enjoy a coffee and a cake or two at a local cafe. I always enjoy having fun with our couples and Sandy & Jimmy are simply wonderful. They really enjoy their time together and watching them explore the grounds of the castle or simply showing them around Prague (and of course there are always other photographers who must stop and take a picture of them) was a blast. We just had fun…
So a great start to the New Year (of the horse) with a great couple and a truly beautiful love story of their time here in the Czech Republic. Congratulations again to Sandy & Jimmy! It was a real pleasure and honor to get to know you two as well as capturing these beautiful mementos of your time with us.
Wishing you much love, happiness and prosperity in your new lives together as husband and wife!
