I was totally smitten when I met with Julia & Sergio. They were so excited and beaming with joy as they literally skipped up and down in excitement when we first met. They were so full of life – you just knew that they were planning a truly special day for not only themselves, but for the the union of their two families.
Their families & friends were traveling in from around the world: Italy, Russia, Switzerland and many others. They knew Prague, they knew those special locations and they knew exactly what they wanted. My only concern: making sure that they had time to enjoy it all as they had so many places (St. Thomas for the wedding, a wedding reception at the Augustine and then a second reception plus dinner at the Four Seasons, then afterwards they rented a popular venue for the after party - Cloud 9 Sky Bar). Weddings can be so over choreographed that couples rarely have a few moments alone until it is time for bed.
The wonderful memories I have of Julia & Sergio? How these two never stopped smiling, laughing, squeezing each other and snuggling up for small kisses. But my fondest memory: Sergio spinning Julia around on the roof top of the Four Seasons and laughing the entire time. The wedding planner was not too happy about us sneaking away but the view from the roof top overlooking the Charles Bridge and the castle as a backdrop demands a few moments to simply enjoy. Thankfully the lovely and talented hair & makeup artist Bara was waiting to fix her up while the always Sergio looked at the back of the camera beaming at the incredible photos.
It was such a beautiful and wonderful day - full of so many wonderful moments between these two and their family & friends. I do hope that this small collection shows how these two felt during that wonderful day.
To Julia & Sergio, I wish you both much love, happiness and prosperity in your new lives together as husband and wife and I look forward to meeting up with you two again.
