I love this session. I really do. Rose & Alpha are from the great state of New Jersey in the USA who were looking for a mixture of styles on their pre-wedding portrait session in Prague. Not too staged, not too romantic, never boring, just a simple, fun, spontaneous and yes, a mixture of incredible locations for their pre-wedding. They danced, they kissed, they laughed ( a lot) and they shared truly wonderful, unforgettable moments. Everything was perfect (well, except for that bit of rain, and ok, the cold morning air before the sun was supposed to come up, and well ok, the sunrise was a bit of a let down – in fact, it was gray for awhile – too long). Ok, so yeah, the weather was truly a drag, but these two are in love and a little rain is not going to ruin their session and from having a kick ass time.

As you can imagine every photographer in the world is traveling to the Prague and trying to capture this city in its most amazing light and well, sometimes it simply does not happen, but with a bit of flair and a kick ass lighting crew any situation can be made better and every couple will look amazing – even if the weather is not. Our crew came through, the light came through in the evening (sunrise & sunset sessions are the way to go) and Rose & Alpha were floored, happy, ecstatic and they will have a crazy fun slide show that incorporates their wonderful time in this incredible city.

Here is a small collection of the many, many images captured, lovingly enhanced, colored, retouched. Images that will be shared and cherished with family & friends. Thanks to the fantastic, fun and very cool Rose & Alpha for allowing us to share this beautiful, fun & fantastic pre-wedding session.

To be honest, this is such an incredible portrait session and in so many ways: the splendor of Prague during the most beautiful parts of the day, a reportage / posed / natural style portrait session taking in many locations and of course the lovely Catherine and her husband Cedric.Son who are great fun to be around.

As they are both very busy and successful business people, they really did not have the time to travel to Europe and have a proper ‘pre wedding portrait session’ prior to their wedding. So on a wonderful day last autumn we met them at the Charles Bridge for their sunrise & sunset post wedding portrait session in Prague.

Hebe and Pierre from Hong Kong sought the ultimate pre-wedding experience in Prague, capturing breathtaking moments at sunrise, sunset, and iconic locations like Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

Introducing our latest couple T+P who traveled over from Hong Kong to have their beautiful summertime pre wedding portrait session here in Prague with yours truly.

Like many couples from Hong Kong, T+P wanted a more laid back session without the many tourists. The wonderful thing about their pre wedding session, less staged and more natural images. Which means a very leisurely pace amongst some of my favorite locations here in Prague.

As many of our Hong Kong couples are looking for a more earthy, organic feel – Prague with its many gardens makes for a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the stunning city down below. Of course you can still have the many iconic shots: the Astronomical Clock, the Charles Bridge, but the truly stunning architectural shots that define this city is what makes it so truly special.

So with our itinerary worked out well in advance, we simply wandered on a warm summer day capturing two people in love exploring one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

C&L (Macau) summer Engagement session in Prague: without a doubt Prague is simply one of the most stunning locations for a pre wedding portrait session in Europe. You have the wonderful architecture, those amazing gardens and of course you have beautiful weather – especially in the summertime. Cecilia & Leong our latest and very stylish couple who traveled over from Macau wanted to simply soak up the atmosphere, the history the locations and just have a good time – not too many staged or posed images, just simply take in the city and especially enjoy the sites. Of course when you have two good looking and stylish people and this city – well, life isn’t too difficult to make them look great.

these two are too cute. All they were looking for was to enjoy the sunrise on the Charles Bridge and a few more locations. Nothing too staged, just a fun pre wedding portrait session in Prague during the summer months.

Starting very early in the am we had the Charles Bridge nearly entirely to ourselves when Sarah & Patrick arrived after their hair & makeup prep. When the clouds began to break and the first early light starting coming through the bridge quickly filled up with tourists – but not before we captured them enjoying what can only be described as a beautiful summer morning in Prague. Not that the Charles Bridge is the only place to enjoy the sunrise, we also headed to a few other locations that everyone who visits this city insists on and we had a great time doing it as well. Seeing that they are from Boston you know we had to come up with something special for them. So presented below is a few of their favorite images from that wonderful morning in Prague.

A sunrise & sunset pre wedding session in Prague with Alice & Mun

Alice & Mun are a fantastic couple who will be marrying in Singapore a few short weeks. Like many couples they were searching for something a bit different for their pre wedding session and as such they chose Prague. Prague is quickly becoming one of the top pre wedding destinations in not only Europe but the world.

What I enjoyed about Alice & Mun, how easy going and laid back they were to simply hang out with and capture as they explored this amazing city.

We started our session on the Charles Bridge before sunrise and followed a route that maximizes the possibilities for the best photos before finishing up at Prague Castle. After an afternoon break, a new hair style and a new look it was time to head out again for a late afternoon / sunset / evening session and we chose the stunning Vrtba Zahrada (Garden) for our start and then headed up to Prague Castle before finishing up at the Charles Bridge where this wonderful day had its start.

For couples who are really looking for the best in pre wedding photos in Prague this is simply the only way to enjoy the city. Very few tourists are out before sunrise, the wonderful sunrises & sunsets over the many spires of this historic city and a few beautifully crafted night time portraits and you have a collection of stunning images without the tourists. Truth is, this is the only way to explore this city. So if you are looking for the very best in pre wedding portrait sessions in Prague consider having a sunrise and sunset session. After all you deserve the best!
