St. Thomas Church wedding / Rachel & Brendan Prague wedding photos

When Rachel contacted me about her wedding I was pretty excited. She is friends with one of my first clients from 2008 who also had an elopement wedding in Prague: Tara & Ethan. Originally she was thinking of marrying in the Ukraine (a country I very much love ) and bringing me out for it, but it became a bit more complicated that they had time for. So they decided to elope here in Prague. Knowing that it was going to be just her and her fiancee Brendan I really wanted to create something truly special for them.

They had a very simple and beautiful ceremony at the Church of St. Thomas in the heart of Mala Strana. I always felt that this was one of the most beautiful churches in Prague and of course it was all the more special as pastor PhDr. P. William Faix is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

After their vows under the stunning murals of this incredible church, it was time to head out to enjoy the warmth of this enchanting city. As the weather was simply perfect we decided to enjoy a boat ride along the Vltava. Personally, if you have the time, this makes for a truly unforgettable excursion and Brenden was more than happy to row his stunning and beaming bride Rachel around as other boaters also took pictures and cozied up to them.

Afterwards, we took a wonderful stroll around the city simply capturing them enjoying their first day together as husband and wife. I must admit, Rachel & Brenden are two very sweet and incredibly nice people (Canadians of course!) and being able to capture their wedding day in a truly relaxed and fun way was a real treat and joy.

To Rachel & Brenden, I wish both of you much happiness, success and love in your new lives together! And congratulations on the new addition to the family.

Chateau Liblice wedding / Jana & Kym wedding photos

{Prague Wedding Photographers} Jana & Kym – beautiful Chateau Liblice wedding!

I really enjoyed being a part of Jana & Kym’s wedding as they are two very laid back people (must be an Australian thing?). In addition, their families and friends were great fun to be around.

When you travel from Australia to have your wedding in the Czech Republic there are of course many places you can exchange your vows, but their choice of Liblice was simply spot on. The Chateau is located outside of Prague in the beautiful Czech countryside and its seclusion was a paradise for the children who ruled its grounds.

As Jana originally hails from the CZ, it was a lot of fun as Kym’s family experienced a truly beautiful Czech Wedding and its accompanied traditions.

The one thing I will always remember about their wedding day: the picture perfect late evening portrait session we captured on their behalf. The setting sun was incredible as its last rays hit the back of the castle as Jana & Kym enjoyed their first sunset together as husband and wife. In a word: krásný!

To Jana & Kym, I very much enjoyed meeting the two of you as well as being a small part of your wedding day. I wish you both much love, happiness and future success together as husband and wife. Thank you very much for allowing me to bring Sherri along ; )

Hey Kurt, well you did it! Thank you for working with us to make a very special wedding album The Album arrived a couple weeks ago and we both absolutely love it! St. Nicholas Church wedding Prague / Sandy & Jimmy wedding photography

What a great couple! Sandy & Jimmy traveled over from Hong Kong to marry in Prague. But before we were to photograph their wedding we spent part of our day at Castle Hluboka nad Vltavou. This is a truly stunning castle for a portrait session as well as simply exploring the beautiful grounds before sunset. Afterwards we headed to Prague for one last evening out fit – and to say that Sandy looked stunning in her dress is an understatement.

The next day it was time to marry at the beautiful St. Nicholas Church in the heart of Old Town Square. With family members and friends in attendance it was a beautiful ceremony as the organist performed during the wedding vows.

Afterwards it was simply time to relax, enjoy a coffee and a cake or two at a local cafe.

I always enjoy having fun with our couples and Sandy & Jimmy are simply wonderful. They really enjoy their time together and watching them explore the grounds of the castle or simply showing them around Prague (and of course there are always other photographers who must stop and take a picture of them) was a blast. We just had fun…

So a great start to the New Year (of the horse) with a great couple and a truly beautiful love story of their time here in the Czech Republic. Congratulations again to Sandy & Jimmy! It was a real pleasure and honor to get to know you two as well as capturing these beautiful mementos of your time with us.
