Sometimes the best approach is to simply leave home, to travel afar, visit places you have not seen, and to tie the knot with the person of your dreams in a simple yet beautiful way. No fanfare, no big productions, no stress, just two people, in a small and very old & historic church (St. Phillips and James church) overlooking a beautiful, Bohemian valley in the heart of Europe.

Scott & Libby who traveled from Canada were rewarded with a truly spectacular fall day – picture perfect for a wedding.

Honestly, if I was to marry I would do it like this.

I must admit, when you have two fun people (and they had a large entourage with them too – hello everyone) and a wonderful, and simply beautiful summer day in Prague – magic truly happens. It was no exception with Silver & Ken who had one of my favorite pre-wedding portrait sessions from last year.

In fact, this was one of those days where choosing to have part of your session in the evening really paid off – nothing more sexy than beautiful photos at nite overlooking the city.

Hluboka nad Vltavou Castle Wedding / Katya & Martin wedding day

Katya & Martina are one of those awesome, fun, fabulous couples who believe it or not survived a flood ( the Mercedes S class really does float well ), power outages at their wedding venue and a torrential downpour that flooded Cesky Krumlov while we were shooting their wedding portraits and all of this – on their wedding day. And yet, they had a brilliant time (though the wedding dress was a bit wrecked).

Not only did they have a great time but their family & friends who traveled in from around the world also took everything in stride – after all when you are partying on the grounds of a truly stunning castle as Hluboka nad Vltavou – why not.

So without further adieu a truly wonderful couple whose wedding images make me smile every time I see them.

To Katya & Martina: I wish both of you much love, happiness and success in your live’s together as husband and wife! Many thanks again!
