Prague weddings: Polina & Josh wedding day photography!

An awesome couple deserves awesome wedding photography – especially when they come in from America & Russia…

Polina & Josh simply fell in love with Prague when they visited here during the cold winter months. So when it came time to have their dream destination wedding they could have gone anywhere in Europe, but instead chose Prague’s historic Old Town Hall on a glorious summer day. As Josh is a proud member of the US Navy it was my duty as a military ‘brat’ to create something truly special for them – after all my mother would not have allowed it any other way.

So after their wedding at the Old Town Hall and some family portraits we headed off for several hours to capture this stunning couple enjoying their wedding day amidst the historic cobblestone streets of Prague.

Naturally wherever they went they were the center of attention as Polina was simply the most beautiful bride in Prague and lots of people and aspiring wedding photographers were following us around taking snaps.

Later that nite Josh had one more surprise for his lovely bride as he stepped out in his Navy whites and then later swept her off her feet for a kiss under the twinkling stars atop Prague’s historic Charles Bridge. A dream ending to a dream day and who could ask for anything better than that!

To Polina & Josh, you guys rock! Being a part of your wedding day was simply brilliant and I hope the two of you and your wonderful families get a lifetime of enjoyment out of these new family heirlooms. I wish both of you much love, happiness and success in your new live’s together as husband & wife.

Congratulations to a truly wonderful couple Laura & Donal who wedded at the lovely St. Oliver Plunkett Church in Kilcloon and later had their reception at the Carton House in Maynooth.

Sometimes it is best to let the pictures speak for themselves, especially as there were so many wonderful moments during their unforgettable wedding day. Though I must add Laura looked absolutely stunning as she made her entrance to the church to the patiently waiting Donal proudly escorted by her beaming father. In fact there were so many wonderful moments – I really should stop and simply let the images speak for themselves.

To Laura & Donal – You two are such a tremendous couple, I am honored to have been a part of your wonderful wedding day. I wish both of you much love, happiness and future success together as husband and wife! And to all of the wonderful family members and of course friends – thank you for letting me share in this special day and allowing me the privilege of being a small part of it.

From The Blog: Wendy & Nick -Vrtbovska Garden Elopement

Vrtbovska Garden wedding / Wendy & Nicholas / elopement wedding

Wendy & Nicholas traveled over from the US to have their destination wedding elopement at one of Prague’s most beautiful Gardens: Vrtbovksa Zahrada.

Nicholas, was already waiting patiently downstairs when I met up with Wendy during her preparations at the Aria Hotel – as her suite overlooked the garden she could sneak a peak to see how Nicholas was getting on during this sweltering hot summer day.

A few last minute touch ups and it was time to head downstairs for the start of their very intimate ceremony – and a few minutes later it was official. Introducing Mr. & Mrs Schmidt. After a few drinks we headed up to the very top of the garden for the stunning views and especially as one of Europe’s most beautiful castles overlooked us. Later we went to the Old Town Square for a horse and carriage ride followed by a dinner at the Hotel U Prince’s rooftop terrace.

With their cool and very fun laid back demeanor and the fact that they were midwesterners like myself I proposed an idea for one of the last portrait locations – the beach near the Charles Bridge. They were game and with one of my favorite lighting technicians we created a truly stunning series of portraits – a few of them captured here.

To say that they were wonderful to be around is really an understatement.
