{Prague Wedding Photographers} Jana & Kym – beautiful Chateau Liblice wedding!

I really enjoyed being a part of Jana & Kym’s wedding as they are two very laid back people (must be an Australian thing?). In addition, their families and friends were great fun to be around.

When you travel from Australia to have your wedding in the Czech Republic there are of course many places you can exchange your vows, but their choice of Liblice was simply spot on. The Chateau is located outside of Prague in the beautiful Czech countryside and its seclusion was a paradise for the children who ruled its grounds.

As Jana originally hails from the CZ, it was a lot of fun as Kym’s family experienced a truly beautiful Czech Wedding and its accompanied traditions.

The one thing I will always remember about their wedding day: the picture perfect late evening portrait session we captured on their behalf. The setting sun was incredible as its last rays hit the back of the castle as Jana & Kym enjoyed their first sunset together as husband and wife. In a word: krásný!

To Jana & Kym, I very much enjoyed meeting the two of you as well as being a small part of your wedding day. I wish you both much love, happiness and future success together as husband and wife. Thank you very much for allowing me to bring Sherri along ; )

Hey Kurt, well you did it! Thank you for working with us to make a very special wedding album The Album arrived a couple weeks ago and we both absolutely love it! Prague Clementinum wedding / Chateau Dobris / Alchymist / Maria & Nikolai wedding

Luxury wedding in Prague at the Clementinum and celebrations at Chateau Dobris and the Alchemyst!

Congratulations to our latest couple Maria & Nikolai who hat an incredible two day luxury wedding here in Prague with one of the most incredible venues to marry in: the Clementinum. This is not only a world renown historical site, but also formerly the home of the Czech National Library and some of it’s collections are not only priceless but an incredible backdrop for a portrait session.

Their choice of the sumptuous Baroque chapel is a rarity here for weddings as it is very exclusive. The chapel is not far from the Charles Bridge so having a wedding ceremony here in tranquil surroundings add up for a fabulous place for wedding photos. Later after we explored the narrow windings streets, the beautiful riverside, the Charles Bridge and of course some of the sites of this stunning city we headed to the Alchymist Grand Hotel which is in a magnificent Baroque house “Dům u Ježíška”, dating from the 16th century. The Alchymist is where luxury meets old world charm in a fusion that is all of its own. So having a private dinner with a private show of ballerinas, opera stars and wonderful poetry was a fitting ending to an incredible day.

But not to be outdone, day two took place at the Chateau Dobris outside of Prague. The entire castle grounds was reserved for the evenings festivities complete with performers from the Cirque du Soleil as well as pop stars, ballet dancers, fire walkers and of course capped off with an incredible fireworks show that went on and on. A truly incredible wedding experience for everyone who was lucky enough to participate.

But no more talking, lets look at what can only be described as one of the most beautiful weddings and a truly fabulous, wonderful and nice couple who really went all out for their intimate family & friends for a true luxury destination wedding in Prague. Enjoy!

Prague wedding elopement / prague wedding photography / Libby & Scott

Sometimes the best approach is to simply leave home, to travel afar, visit places you have not seen, and to tie the knot with the person of your dreams in a simple yet beautiful way. No fanfare, no big productions, no stress, just two people, in a small and very old & historic church (St. Phillips and James church) overlooking a beautiful, Bohemian valley in the heart of Europe.

Scott & Libby who traveled from Canada were rewarded with a truly spectacular fall day – picture perfect for a wedding.

Honestly, if I was to marry I would do it like this.
