A Dream Delayed, Finally Realized in Prague
For Eva and Conan, the dream of a pre-wedding session in Prague — the City of a 100 Spires — began years ago in Hong Kong. Like many international couples, their plans were delayed by the pandemic. Although they celebrated their marriage at home, they always held onto the idea of returning to Europe to experience Prague together in front of the camera.
When the borders reopened, they arrived in the city ready to bring that vision to life.
We began before first light on the iconic Charles Bridge, photographing them beneath the warm glow of the historic gas lamps as the city remained completely still. As the night slowly shifted into dawn, the sky softened into deep blues and golds, creating a cinematic backdrop for their Prague portraits.
From there, we moved into the Old Town Square just as the first light broke above the rooftops. One of the most memorable frames of the morning — Conan gently adjusting Eva’s veil as the sun illuminated them from behind — was captured as the square awoke.
To continue the story in a more tranquil setting, we walked to Wallenstein Garden, where Baroque sculptures and architectural details created a timeless atmosphere away from the city’s early-morning energy. The session then continued through Vrtba Garden, where Eva and Conan changed into more relaxed attire, allowing for playful, spontaneous moments among the terraced gardens and sweeping views over Malá Strana.
We concluded the session in the historic streets of Malá Strana, where their natural connection and joy remained constant throughout the morning.
What emerged was not just a pre-wedding or honeymoon session in Prague, but a visual story of patience, timing, and connection — a celebration finally realised in one of the world’s most romantic cities.
