It all began with a simple message:
“My name is Julia. I am planning to get married on the 28th of June. After browsing your beautiful work on your website, my fiancé and I would like to involve you as our photographer for our special day.”
From the moment I met Julia, a radiant Swiss bride, and her Italian fiancé Sergio, I knew their wedding would be something special. Their warmth, excitement, and genuine affection for one another were immediately apparent. Friends and family were coming in from Switzerland, Italy, Russia, and beyond, bringing together cultures and backgrounds to celebrate a shared moment of joy.
Rather than focusing on highly styled portraits or trend-driven imagery, Julia and Sergio chose a more documentary approach. They wanted their wedding to be remembered through genuine moments, real emotions, and the natural interactions that unfolded throughout the day.
Prague provided the perfect setting for their celebration. Having fallen in love with the city, they carefully selected locations that held personal meaning for them. The day began with an intimate ceremony at St. Thomas Church in Malá Strana, where they exchanged vows surrounded by Baroque architecture and centuries of history.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed a quiet moment together overlooking Prague’s rooftops bathed in warm afternoon light. Away from the worries of a very busy timeline, they were able to pause, reflect, and enjoy their first moments as husband and wife.
The celebrations continued at the Four Seasons Hotel Prague before moving to Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge, where family and friends gathered overlooking the Vltava River and the illuminated Prague skyline. Laughter, conversation, and heartfelt toasts carried the evening late into the night as guests from across Europe celebrated together.
While words can only tell part of the story, the photographs reveal the moments in between—the quiet glances, the laughter, the emotions, and the connections shared throughout the day. It was a celebration that brought together family, friendship, and love from across borders, all set against the timeless backdrop of Prague.
