A quick 20-minute escape turned into pure magic.
Merve and Nikola didn’t want a big production for their wedding day. It was to be just their closest family and friends, good food, and a day that truly felt like them.
As their intimate wedding lunch at the stylish Grand Mark Prague was coming to an end, most couples would have called it a day. But I had an idea.
“Want to slip away for a quick 15–20 minute session?” I asked.
They looked at each other, smiled, and said yes without hesitation.
So we escaped to the nearby Praha-Masarykovo Station — one of my favourite hidden gems in Prague. With its grand old-world iron architecture, beautiful natural light, and nostalgic atmosphere, it feels like stepping into another era.
Merve looked elegant in her wedding dress, while Nikola rocked his Ray-Bans with cool confidence. Together, they had incredible chemistry. They strolled hand-in-hand through the historic platforms, laughing and stealing kisses, completely lost in their own world.
Before we knew it, the moment was over — it was time to return to their guests.
Although everything was captured in rich, vibrant colours, I always felt that these images deserved a warm vintage sepia tone — like frames from an old film reel. It just felt perfect for their love story.
No big productions. No hour-long portrait session. Just two people very much in love, making the most of a few stolen moments on their wedding day.
And honestly? These are some of my favourite frames.
Congratulations, Merve & Nikola. Thank you for trusting me with your love story. And my very best to you and your wonderful family.
